Game created for the 'GameDev.Tv 2023' game jam, with the theme Life in 2 Dimensions. It's the second game jam I've participated in, the first one being the 'GameDev.Tv 2022' last year. I learned a lot from both game jams. Last year, I created a puzzle game, and this year, I decided to create a game that has been in my mind for many years, but I always felt a lack of motivation to create it.

Some updates on my game dev career: Last year during the GameDev.Tv 2022, I was still  only a game design student. I created the game 'Sorry Mummy' for the Jam and was thrilled to know it got ranked 74th in Mechanics and 99th in Fun. Considering there were approximately 1000 games in the jam last year, being among the top 7-10% of the best games in the jam got me really excited.

Since the jam, I have continued my studies, focusing on Unity. I worked on one of my biggest project with two other colleagues, the game is "Wondering if Playable". This project was created for a college assignment and we received high praise from our professor, classmates, and an evaluation board.

Two months ago, I received a job offer as a Game Designer from a game company here in Brazil, where I live. I had a conversation with the recruiter and showcased my games, including 'Sorry Mummy' from the GameDev.Tv 2022 jam. I'm confident that this game helped me a lot in securing this job, and I believe that 'Binary Blaster' will perform even better in this jam, opening up even more opportunities for me in the game industry.
